In a campaign, the role of the lead investor can be undertaken by an Angel Investor, a legal entity with an Investor Profile, or any User with an Investor Profile who has committed to a minimum investment of 10,000 EUR, and whose lead investor status has been pre-approved by TokePortal. The lead investor’s task is to negotiate the Investment Terms (KIIS) with the Campaign Owner and conduct its due diligence. The Investment Terms negotiated by the Lead Investor with the Campaign Owner, which stipulate rights for all Investors, are included in the Investment Terms, and their investment is also realized only in the case of a Successful Campaign. The lead investor may request a commission from the company’s future profits and may receive their share at a slightly more favorable price than the crowd, in return for conducting the due diligence. The Lead Investor represents the other investors in the company’s governance with a general power of attorney. If the Campaign Owner does not agree with a Lead Investor, or if the Lead Investor steps back, a so-called Delegated Person performs the same role, whose identity is announced to the Investors by the Campaign Owner.
