Miniinterview with dr. Miklós Varga
11/12/2022 – Tokeportal’s own content
In the previous episode of our mini-interview series, Zoltan Sipos answered our questions, and this time Dr. Miklos Varga introduces himself. Miklos helps Hungarian businesses with their projects to enter the US market, as well as helping them with investments. His areas of expertise include market entry strategy, pitch training and rhetoric, and mentoring startup programs.
As a startup mentor, what factors do you see as key to startup success?
I believe that innovation is the most important factor today that drives the world forward and, in turn, the economy.
In addition, the support and funding provided to start-ups has led to a surge in the number of bold and innovative initiatives that have led to the development of amazing new projects and opened up new horizons in the world of entrepreneurship. In my opinion, the principle of “seeing the world differently” is the primary driver when I think about success.
On your mentor profile, you wrote that you help Hungarian businesses bring their projects to the US market. Based on your experience, what are the main differences between Hungarian and American startups?
I really help Hungarian startups to enter and succeed in the US market, whatever their field of activity. The owners of Hungarian startups may often not believe that they can succeed in a market like the US. Fortunately, in my experience, today’s generation is braver, more proactive and daring.
You are currently working in the legal services sector. How do you think legislation has changed in recent years for startups?
My experience is that there have been fortunately not many legal changes in recent years, but what has changed has been mainly in the areas of patent, licensing and franchising law, which have been flexible to the gradually growing needs of the startup world.
Another important factor that is taken into account in the area of legislation is that inventors should feel secure in their projects and should concentrate on creating the perfect thing, without other factors hindering the success of their projects.
What can you highlight about your work and the key to success?
Personally, I would just highlight that I am currently living in the US and working as a Notary Public in the State of Florida, as well as assisting projects in the patent, invention, licensing and franchising areas. I also help the market by bringing in additional contacts and investors when needed.
Furthermore, we have created the Idea to Dollar program, which has a website with lots of useful information about our presentations, workshops and activities. If you have an idea, the Idea to Dollar team will guide you through the LITERAL, TECHNICAL and LEGAL PROCESS to make your dream a reality and take your idea, product or technology to the US market and make the world a better place.
Many people ask how and with what to get started? My answer is simple: anything. Whether it’s a product, a technology, a service, or a combination of all of them. To sum it up, one thing is essential, and that is to believe in what you want to achieve so much that there is no chance of it not happening.
